Gaston County police are searching for a missing woman from Stanley, and her family says they haven’t heard from her in days.

Kelly Krueger, 38, was last seen around Lineberger Road wearing a dark “Simply Southern” T-shirt, black Nike gym shorts, pink Crocs, and a dark-colored baseball cap.

Krueger is described as 5 feet 2 inches and weighs 125 pounds. She has brown hair and green eyes.

    ‘Bring her back home’

Kelly Kreuger’s sister and nieces told Channel 9′s Ken Lemon that the last few days have been unbearable.

“Hell, they have been Hell -- we have to have her back,” said Jessica Matthews.

They say Krueger had been living with her father on Lineberger Road. Her family says Krueger’s boyfriend reported her missing on Tuesday, four days after she was last seen.

No one has heard from her in days.

“She would never leave us in the dark ever like this, she would have let somebody know she’s OK,” said Chelsey Gann, Krueger’s niece.

These ladies decided to look for her themselves, missing work and driving up and down roads in the area.

Wednesday, police searched an abandoned store about five minutes from her father’s home, and her family told Lemon that officers extensively searched the area before questioning people. No new clues were found

Now, they’re wondering what happened to their loved one. They’re urging people to come forward with any information they find.

“We need my baby sister back,” Matthews said. “We just want to find her and bring her back home.”

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call the Gaston County Police Department at 704-866-3320.
