Country Jam 2024 kicks off
EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -Jam goers dust off your cowboy boots because it’s day one of making new memories at one of the Chippewa Valley’s staple music festivals. Country Jam kicks off at 1 p.m. on Thursday, July 18. People will be stomping their boots to headliner Hardy on Thursday night. Crews were at the Eau Claire Event District at 7 a.m. Thursday morning to make sure everything was set.
Tomah Woman Sentenced for Driving Intoxicated and Crashing With Children in the Vehicle
A Tomah woman accused of driving intoxicated and crashing while there were children in the vehicle was sentenced in Monroe County Court on Tuesday. According to court records, back in February of 2023, authorities received a report of a traffic accident with multiple injuries on Ginger Road near the intersection of Quartermaster Road in Monroe County.

AJ Dillon and Wife Launch Foundation to Combat Hunger in Northeast Wisconsin
LITTLE CHUTE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — AJ Dillon, and his wife Gabrielle, launched ‘The Dillon Family Foundation’ to tackle hunger in our area. The couple partnered with Feeding America in order to help as many people as possible. The foundation kicked off Thursday afternoon, packing 375 meals to be delivered to families across northeast Wisconsin.

Door County Republican Party Chair Stephanie Soucek said she had an up-close view of history in the making at this week’s Republican National Convention in Milwaukee. Press receives state American Legion award
The Verona Press received a Public Relations Appreciation Award from the Wisconsin American Legion on Friday, July 12. Verona’s Mason-Lindsay Post 385 nominated community news reporter Maddie Bergstrom for an award in the Legion’s press category. Recipients are selected based on their support for the American Legion and veterans with stories.
