PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- This weekend is the first without rainy weather this summer for the Philadelphia area.It's hard to believe, but each of the past nine weekends have featured everything from a light shower to severe storms. The last time we enjoyed a fully dry weekend was May 25-26, which was the Saturday and Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. By the way, it rained on Memorial Day, Monday, May 27. Parker Signs New Health Laws
Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker signed two pieces of healthcare-related legislation into law at St. Christopher’s Hospital on Thursday, July 25th. The two bills, 240467 and 240426, adjust an index related to federal Medicaid funding, and change the zoning on a plot of land that will allow for a new health center to be built in the 7th Council District, respectively.

Renderings have been revealed for a large new multi-family development located at 901 North Penn Street in Northern Liberties, North Philadelphia. Designed by HDO Architecture, the new building will rise seven stories and contain 193 residential units. The ground level will feature 75 parking spaces, with two being ADA spaces and four designated for electric vehicles, along with 65 bike spaces. In total, the building will span 189,229 square feet of space.

A night this Havertown man will never forget is when three people saved his life while he was under cardiac arrest.Vince Cicione lost consciousness at a basketball tournament; but, it wasn't long before his daughter started CPR.Then, two nurses also came to the aid of the CPR, and utilized an Automated External Defibrillator.They were Liz Babeuf and Kerri Pierangeli. EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP — When Chris Wilson came up to a car on fire from a four-car accident on the Black Horse Pike Friday night, he knew he had to help. Wilson, 46, of Vineland was headed to Rainbow Sushi in Ventnor with a friend when he noticed a silver Nissan Sentra about 70 yards away from his car. Two people were killed and seven others injured in the accident, police said.
