Nebraska Football Countdown to Kickoff: No. 16 Elijah Jeudy
Only 16 days remain until the beginning of Nebraska’s 2024 season and in the player spotlight with just over two weeks remaining is junior defensive lineman Elijah Jeudy. The 6-foot-3, 285-pound junior defensive lineman is in his second year with the program after playing in 11 games as part of the Blackshirt defense in 2023 as he recorded eight tackles including one tackle for loss while also blocking one field goal while a member of the Huskers’ special team unit. This fall, Jeudy will once again be a rotational defensive lineman for the Huskers but could see a bit of a bigger role than what he saw in 2023. Jeudy and the Huskers will continue to prepare for the Huskers season opener on August 31 against the UTEP Miners on August 31. BPD helps to direct traffic, during first days of elementary school opening
BEATRICE, NEB. - There’s nothing quite like the feeling of going back to school. For parents and children alike, there’s a mix of uncertainty and excitement. Throw in a brand new building, that blends a collection of schools that have been around for decades, and that multiplies. Add some street closures to it, it gets even more uncertain. Because of this, Beatrice Police are on site of the new Beatrice Elementary School for the first two days of its opening.
