Clinton man arrested in decades-old murder case
Authorities have arrested a Van Buren County man in connection with the 1980 murder of a Washington woman following a renewed investigation into the decades-old case. According to a release, on Tuesday, Aug. 20, deputies and investigators from the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office, along with members of the 20th Judicial District Drug Task Force, assisted detectives from the Kent Police Department in apprehending Kenneth Kundert, 65, a resident of Clinton, Ark.
