University credits Unbridled campaign with third consecutive record-setting philanthropic fiscal year
For the third consecutive year, Boise State University broke its philanthropic record in fiscal year 2024, with giving totaling $61.3 million from 28,146 individual donors. “We are incredibly excited to announce the success that our Unbridled campaign has already achieved, and we are grateful to the thousands of donors who have shown their support for Boise State University students, faculty, programs and athletics! These gifts positively impact individuals, often changing their lives for the better, and they also profoundly impact Idaho and our broader world,” said Dr. Marlene Tromp, Boise State president.
Marco’s opens first location with new digital-focused design
Marco’s Pizza debuted its new store design in the Boise, Idaho, market on July 23, the company said in a press release Wednesday. The prototype aligns with the brand’s platform “But Wait, There’s Marco’s” and has a brighter, modern look and feel. It has an option for a pickup door and window as well as a QR code on a designated wall for customers to order through the app in-store.

Wildfires Update-Juliaetta Remains Evacuated-River Fire Closes US12
An incident management team has been called in to lead the firefighting effort for a complex of blazes in Southern Latah and Northern Nez Perce Counties. The fires were sparked during Wednesday’s thunderstorm. Two major fires are burning between Juliaetta in the Potlatch River Canyon in Latah County and Myrtle in the Clearwater River Canyon in Nez Perce County. The 2,000 acre Gwen Fire South of Juliaetta has forced to the sheriff’s office to order a mandatory evacuation of that community. The 2,000 acre River Fire is burning nearby in Nez Perce County. Structures have been destroyed but officials have stated how many or what types of buildings have been lost. The fires have closed State Highway 3 South of Juliaetta and U.S. Highway 12 between U.S. Highway 95 and the Orofino area.
