A Chick-fil-A in Wilmington has reopened with new ways to bring in customers.

On Thursday, the location at 195 Porters Neck Road opened with an expanded drive-thru lane and a new mobile orders lane, according to a Facebook post from the Chick-fil-A Mayfaire page.

The store, which first opened in 2018, had temporarily closed its doors on July 27.

It's the second Port City location to have closed for renovations this year. The Chick-fil-A at Mayfaire was closed for four months before reopening in August with a refreshed dining room. It also added a double drive-thru with a mobile orders lane.

There are seven Chick-fil-A locations in New Hanover County: Porters Neck, Mayfaire, Independence Mall, Hanover Center, Market Street, Monkey Junction and the University of North Carolina Wilmington.

Another has been proposed on Shipyard Boulevard .

In Brunswick County, Chick-fil-A has locations in Leland and Shallotte.
