Brick Township to again set the Longest Table

BRICK TOWNSHIP — Mayor Lisa Crate has invited Brick Township residents to join her at the second annual Longest Table event on Saturday, Sept. 21, at the Havens Farm on Herbertsville Road from 1 to 3 p.m.

During the event, residents will share a communal meal, while having meaningful discussions about the community.

“As mayor, I have made bringing the community together one of my top priorities. The Longest Table is one of our initiatives that aims to do just that,” said Mayor Crate. “What better way to get to know fellow residents than to sit down, break some bread and learn about them over a nice meal?”

According to the township, the second annual event is free to attend and will be limited to 150 guests, ages 15 and older.

To register for the Longest Table, visit the Brick Township website at bricktownship.net and fill out a registration form. Seating will be filled on a first come, first serve basis.

The Longest Table is sponsored by Hackensack Meridian Health Ocean University Medical Center.
