He was born on November 15, 1949, in Torrance, California, to Leroy and Olive (Irwin) Wilson. Terry graduated from Marlington High School in 1968. He worked for B&W Research until his retirement. Terry also served on the Washington Township Fire Department for 42 years, 22 of which he spent as Chief. He was on the Sheep and Swine Committee for the Stark County Jr. Fair. Terry enjoyed Drag Racing.
