Mississippi State is hosting five-star class of 2025 guard Aubrey Beckham on an official visit this weekend, a source told Maroon and White Daily.

One of the top players in the state of Georgia in the class, Beckham is No. 30 in ESPNW’s top 100 rankings. She’s the No. 2 player in the class out of the state of Georgia and ranked as the No. 10 guard in the country.

Beckham has had five teams that she previously had in her focus. She’s taken official visits to Georgia, Auburn, Florida and Indiana and has had a visit scheduled for Florida State. Recently, however, the Bulldogs of MSU have entered the fray.

Coach Sam Purcell and State’s program have an ace in the deck in the form of Beckham’s older sister, Arianna. A former Florida Atlantic volleyball player, Arianna recently transferred to Starkville to play her junior season for Julie Darty Denis. Arianna is a great athlete in her own right as she led the Owls in kills a season ago and was second on the team in blocks.

Aubrey led the Hebron Chistian Academy team to its second-straight state championship last season. In each of the last two seasons, Beckham was the Class 3A, Region 8 Player of the Year and has amassed 1,000 career points and 400 assists already during her career.

Beckham won’t be the only official visitor of the summer for the Bulldogs. State also hosted four-star Tianna Chambers last month and landed inside her final two with Alabama.

Purcell and his staff is also expected to host at least a couple of more official visitors in the coming weeks. Stay tuned for more news on that front.
