Class Of 2026 Four-Star Quarterback Troy Huhn Commits To Penn State Football

Penn State football has its quarterback of the future.

Class of 2026 four-star quarterback Troy Huhn has committed to the Nittany Lions, he announced Tuesday morning. He chose Penn State over several other schools, including Big Ten rivals Michigan, Michigan State, and Ohio State.

Huhn, a native of San Marcos, California, is ranked the No. 10 quarterback and the No. 13 overall player in his state, according to 247Sports’ Composite Rankings. The 6’4″, 205-pound Huhn joins four-star Messiah Mickens as the second player to join Penn State’s recruiting class of 2026.

Huhn plays his high school ball at Mission Hills. Last season, he completed 133 of his 223 pass attempts for 1,623 yards and 16 touchdowns, per his MaxPreps profile .
