Athletes began by swimming 1.2 miles at Bald Eagle State Park, then continuing via a 56-mile bicycle ride spanning parts of Centre and Clinton counties, before finishing with a 13.1-mile run on the Penn State campus.
The first to finish was Kiel Bur, who completed the race in 4:24:02. The top women’s finisher was defending female champ Caroline Moyer in 5:02:11.
