PARIS (WTAJ) — A Penn State alumni took home a bronze medal on Saturday in gymnastics.

25-year-old Stephen Nedoroscik took home his second bronze medal of the 2024 Olympic games, this time all on his own in Men’s Pommel Horse.

Nedorosick, who graduated from Penn State in 2020, recorded a 15.300 score, which was good enough for third place.

He’s been labeled as the specialist and the pommel horse guy and has become a “breakout sensation” at this year’s games, according to CBS News .

During the team competition, Nedoroscik played a huge part in Team USA winning its first medal in men’s gymnastics in 16 years. During the competition, which took place on July 29, he scored 14.866.
