At the DWTSS Dancer Appreciation Kick Off Event, each Star was introduced along with their professional dance pro, who will join them to make a dance team. The kickoff dinner was held Wednesday evening at the Statesboro Homebuilders Association. Dinner was provided by Al Chapman and Blue Mile Catering , desserts by Cathy Deal , lemonade and Charcuterie table by Ava Mincey of Ava’s Lemonade, and decorations by Amanda Dyches and Kerri Knight, owners of Party Impressions . Guests heard from many inspirational speakers and learned more about Safe Haven and the vital services they offer our community and the DWTSS journey to the mirror ball. The 2023 DWTSS Committee includes Kim Billings , Chair, Alana Avret, Diana Ray, Corbett Deloach, Carol Thompson, Katie Sconyers, and Russ Lanier.
