Unit One Board Personnel Action Monday Night
The Mulberry Grove Unit 1 Board of Education approved six personnel items at its meeting Monday night. Nikki Wiegand was approved as an elementary life skills teacher. The other positions pertain to sports. Sam Barber is the high school head baseball coach, Jonathan Icenogle, Tracy Mezo and Brady Maltbie were approved as volunteer assistant baseball coaches at the high school; and Adam Haston was hired as junior high assistant baseball coach.

City Approves Agreement & Loan For Globe Theatre
There are plans for The Globe Theatre in downtown Greenville to be reopened later this year. The theatre has been closed since March of 2020. At its meeting Tuesday night, the Greenville City Council approved a business district agreement and revolving loan to assist Aundi and Andrew Mergner of Greenville to purchase building from Dave Willey and make improvements to reopen the theatre.
