Perryville Man Appointed by Governor Parson
Jefferson City, Mo. (KFMO) - A Perryville man has been appointed by Missouri Governor Mike Parson to one of the various boards and commissions in the state. Jim Martin has been appointed to the Missouri Ethics Commission. Martin is a veteran of the United States Army who currently serves as a member of the Perry County Youth Tax Board. He previously served as a teacher for the Missouri Department of Education’s School for the Severely Disabled in Cape Girardeau and as chaplain of the Veterans of Foreign Wars post 4282 in Perryville.

Franklin Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A Desloge woman, 61-year-old Yvonica L. Waldrop, is dead after a motorcycle crash Sunday afternoon, at 12:30 p.m, in Franklin County. According to Missouri State Highway Patrol reports, Waldrop was riding a motorcycle west on Highway 47, west of Route FF, when she lost control of the bike in a curve to the left.
