PAYNESVILLE TOWNSHIP (WJON News) -- Fire at a Paynesville restaurant forced the evacuation of customers Tuesday morning. The Stearns County Sheriff's Office got a call at approximately 9:45 a.m. about a fire at the Hilltop Restaurant at 28518 Highway 55. The fire was reported to have started on the roof.

ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KFGO) – Investigators in central Minnesota’s Stearns County say they’ve determined who were the parents of a newborn girl whose remains were found in a ditch south of St. Cloud in April of 1980, but there’s not enough evidence to send the case to prosecutors for charges.
Delivery truck rolls on its side in central Minnesota
(Elrosa, MN)--The Stearns County Emergency Communications Center received a call of a delivery truck that had rolled on its side west of the Elrosa. Stearns County Deputies reportedly responded to the scene and located a Ford Transit van had tipped on the passenger side in the south ditch. The driver of the vehicle, Morgan Kuepers, 28, of Rice, was able to escape injuries.

On Tuesday, a 17-year-old male jumped off a cliff at Quarry Park and Nature Preserve and did not come back up. At about 4:20 p.m., the Stearns County Emergency Communication Center received a 911 call about a possible drowning at Quarry 11 inside Quarry Park and Nature Preserve, located in the City of Waite Park, according to a release.
