Anchorage doctor and husband indicted on federal health care fraud and tax evasion charges
A grand jury has indicted an Anchorage doctor and her husband in a case that allegedly involved deceiving patients about the medications being injected into their bodies. That’s according to an indictment handed up in federal court July 17 against rheumatologist Claribel Tan and her husband Daniel Tan, who did administrative work at his wife’s clinic, charging them with healthcare fraud and tax evasion.

Anchor Point Woman Dies From Injuries Sustained In ATV Crash
An ATV rollover last week claimed the life of a woman in Anchor Point. According to the Alaska State Trooper dispatch on the crash, AST was notified of the rollover on Anchor River Road shortly before 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 16.
