South Dakota veteran receives Patriot of the Year
SIOUX FALLS S.D. (KELO) — A South Dakota veteran has been awarded nationally in recognition of his service. Republican Rep. Ken Teunissen received the National Patriot of the Year award from the Military Order of the Purple Heart. OMAHA, Neb. — Mayor Jean Stothert proposed a property tax rate cut, new facilities for first responders, an asphalt plant for potholes, and continued funding for a homeless services coordinator, among other highlights in her 2025 budget.
