Construction begins on newest downtown Raleigh development
RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — Kane Realty announced construction has begun on a new mixed-use development in the West End neighborhood of downtown Raleigh. Oldham & Worth is Kane Realty’s second mixed-use residential project in the West End neighborhood. Located at the corner of W. Cabarrus Street and S. West Street the project will feature five stories of upscale apartments, first-class amenities and 4,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space. There will also be more than 250 apartment units.

The North Carolina Department of Transportation has reported that three license plate agencies throughout the Triangle will either operate on limited services, or be closed altogether, to allow for a software update to fully install in their systems.

Man dies after car crashes along highway in Durham, police say
DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) — Police in Durham closed part of U.S. 15/501 Sunday after a deadly car crash in the area between Morreene Road and N.C. 751. The crash was first reported around 5:35 p.m. Sunday in the southbound area of the highway, according to a statement from the Durham Police Department.
