Pardeeville Area School District: New Partnership Enhances Student Success

Charlotte, NC (Tuesday, February 20, 2024)—Wisconsin’s Pardeeville Area School District (PASD) today announced a new partnership with global edtech leader Discovery Education that is bringing new digital resources supporting college and career readiness to students districtwide. Thanks to this new collaboration, teachers and students across PASD will soon have access to Discovery Education Experience, a digital product that supports instruction and nurtures students’ inherent curiosity in all K-12 subjects.

PASD’s team of professionals provide all students with an education that is a lifelong asset through active participation with family, business, and community in a positive and challenging environment. Conveniently located near Madison, Portage, and Wisconsin Dells, PASD offers a diverse array of courses to help prepare students for their future careers, encourages teachers to utilize a variety of teaching methods to reach all learners, and offers an assortment of athletics and activities for students.

To support district efforts to prepare all students for success beyond graduation, the district sought a suite of flexible, standards-aligned digital learning resources that were easy to integrate into instruction and had a proven record of engaging students in all grades K-12. Following a careful review of available resources, PASD selected Discovery Education Experience for classroom use.

Connecting educators to a vast collection of standards-aligned content, ready-to-use digital lessons, intuitive quiz and activity creation tools, and professional learning resources, Discovery Education Experience facilitates engaging instruction in any environment. These resources are aligned to state and national standards and help educators bring the outside world into teaching and learning every day. Through expanded, lasting partnerships with Microsoft Teams, Google Classroom, Schoology, Canvas, Brightspace, and Clever, integrating Discovery Education’s K-12 learning platform into existing information technology architecture is easier than ever.
