WASHINGTON — Police are still searching for suspects in a shooting that left a man dead near the Sycamore and Oak shopping center in Southeast D.C. Sunday evening. Metropolitan Police Department officers were called to the 1200 block of Oak Drive Southeast for a reported shooting just before 6 p.m. When officers got to the scene, they found a man shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police later identified the man killed as 32-year-old D'Andre Dixon of Southeast.

No charges after crowbar attack and stabbing puts Alexandria brothers in hospital
No charges have been filed against two Alexandria brothers who were hospitalized with serious injuries after a fight in the West End earlier this month. The Alexandria Police Department responded to a stabbing call for service at an apartment in the 500 block of N. Armistead Street on Sunday, July 7.
