It is Labor Day Weekend this weekend and thousands of Michigan folks will either be on the road or in the air for the big, last hurrah of a summer holiday. Women's Golf Set to Open Fall Season at A-Ga-Ming Invite
ROCHESTER, Mich. - Oakland Women's Golf is ready to return to the course as they get ready to hit the fairway for the first time this season. The Golden Grizzlies will participate in the annual A-Ga-Ming Invite, hosted by Central Michigan University, in a two day event beginning on Sunday, Sept. 1. Oakland is looking to repeat last year's success at the season-opening match, where the team placed second out of 13 teams, shooting 877 (+13) at the finish of the invitational. Oakland was led by now sophomore Olivia Hemmila who went +23, while Grace Boczar also finished in the top 30 at +13, with Nateda Her close behind in 32nd (+14).
