2 seriously hurt in motorcycle crash near Lake James
STEUBEN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO) – Two people were injured in a motorcycle crash on Monday night near Lake James. The crash happened just after 10 p.m. on Bayview Road in Steuben County’s rural Pleasant Township. When police arrived, they found a woman laying in the road who appeared unresponsive. A man was also laying on the ground near the roadway next to a crashed motorcycle.

LaGrange woman accused of stabbing man in dispute
STEUBEN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO) – A LaGrange woman is behind bars after being accused of stabbing a man during a domestic dispute on Saturday night. Just after 6 o’clock Saturday evening, Steuben County police were called to a residence on Turkey Lake Lane 124 in rural Salem Township for a reported stabbing. The preliminary investigation indicated that a man and woman had been involved in a domestic dispute during which the woman involved allegedly stabbed the male in the back.

SALEM TOWNSHIP, Ind. (WFFT) — One woman is in custody for allegedly stabbing a man during a domestic violence incident. The Steuben County Sheriff’s Office arrested Deanna Elaine Hembree, 55, of LaGrange on July 13. She faces one count of Domestic Battery with a Deadly Weapon, a Level 5 Felony.
Flood watch: Kosciusko, LaGrange, Noble, Steuben, Whitley
The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch through Tuesday morning for Kosciusko, LaGrange, Noble, Steuben and Whitley counties. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible, the weather service said. It said extensive street flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers is possible; area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with additional heavy rain.

Moreno, 35, from the 7800 block of South Wayne Street, Hamilton, was arrested Friday in the 200 block of West Albion Street, Fremont. He faces charges of Level 6 felony intimidation and misdemeanor disorderly conduct.
