FLLT opens trails at Bad Bear Hill
LINDLEY, NY (CortacaToday) – New trails are open at a nearby nature preserve in Steuben County. Located just southwest of Corning in the Town of Lindley and Erwin, six miles of trails at Bad Bear Hill are now available for public use. The Finger Lakes Land Trust (FLLT) acquired the 990-acre property in February, the largest project in its 35-year history. Officials with the Ithaca-based conservation group say a trailhead can be accessed on Reep Road in the Town of Lindley.

The Associated Press declared Tenney the winner at about 10:15 p.m. Tuesday as she defeated Mario Fratto in a rematch of a 2022 Congressional primary that was also won by the Republican incumbent.

WOODHULL, NY (WENY) -- A man from Allegany county is in the Steuben County jail, charged with murder after a man was shot to death Saturday morning. The Steuben County Sheriff's Office arrested 24-year-old Bradly Maddalena of Wellsville Saturday, and charged him with second degree murder. According to authorities, Steuben County 911 received a call around 8:45AM Saturday morning, where the caller said they had been in an alternation with another person in Woodhull, and the caller had fatally shot the man.
