Meet the 3 babies born on Leap Day at the same hospital in Ohio and each weighs 7 pounds

STEUBENVILLE, Ohio (WTRF) – There’s a 1 in 1500 chance of a baby being born on a leap day, but these “leaplings” at Trinity Health System beat the odds and were born on February 29, 2024.

Even crazier – all three of these babies are girls, AND all weigh 7lbs!

Baby Gianna, Baby Leona, and Baby Emery all have the same birthday that will only be celebrated on the actual day every four years.

In some countries, it’s considered bad luck to be born on leap day, but these dads have a different perspective.

Both said that their baby girls “get to stay young forever.”

”We’re really excited. He’s the most excited. He really wanted a leap year baby. He said if I could hold out till this day, I would get a cruise.”
