    Denver Weather: High temp near 77 Monday, strong winds cause Red Flag Warning

    (DENVER, Colo.) Monday's weather forecast calls for warm, dry and breezy conditions in the Mile High City.

    The National Weather Service in Boulder predicts cloudy skies will become sunny Monday as the high temperature reaches near 77. Anticipate breezy, west to southwest winds at 11 to 16 mph.

    Wind gusts might reach as high as 25 mph.

    There is a red flag warning in effect from 11 a.m. through 7 p.m. Monday due to gusty winds and low humidity.

    The skies over Denver Monday evening will be mostly clear, with a low temperature of around 43.

    The weather service predicts breezy conditions to continue in the evening, with west to southwest winds at 6 to 15 mph to become east to northeast. Expect winds to gust as high as 24 mph.

    Looking Ahead: Sunny skies, temps near 80 Tuesday

    Denver will see sunny skies and warm temperatures Tuesday. However, fire danger will persist.

    The high temperature in Denver Tuesday will reach near 79. Expect northern winds at 5 to 10 mph to become east to the southeast in the morning.

    Winds might gust as high as 16 mph.

    There is a fire weather watch in effect from 11 a.m. through 9 p.m. Tuesday. Avoid burning or any outdoor activity that could cause a spark and lead to a wildfire.

    Tuesday evening will be clear and cool, with a low temperature of around 50. The weather service predicts northern winds at 5 to 7 mph to become southwest after midnight.
