Celebrate ten years of Denver's Better Block Jefferson Park this June

(DENVER, Colo.) Denver Streets Partnership and the Federal Boulevard Business Improvement District will host the Better Block Jefferson Park 10-year anniversary party. The celebration will occur from 4 to 8 p.m. on June 11 on 25th Ave. between Federal Blvd. and Eliot St.

The community-led demonstration project began in June 2012 and has since worked to showcase how to improve commercial streets with infrastructure, art, culture and local business, according to the event's Facebook page.

The event will feature food and drink, live music from local bands such as Los Mocochetes from 6 to 8 p.m., vendors and kids play area.

The Denver Department of Transportation and Infrastructure and the Department of Community Planning Development will have booths at the event with information on infrastructure improvements like the complete redesign of 25th Ave. planned for 2023.
