The following are the latest results of Portage County Health Department inspections on licensed food establishments and other types of businesses, which the Stevens Point Journal reports monthly.

Amherst

• Ambrosia Pub & Grill, 192 S. Main St.: May 2: Five violations: Employee handling ready-to-eat food with bare hands (corrected during inspection); sloppy Joe mix and sour cream not held at a proper temperature (corrected during inspection); consumer advisory is missing disclosure statement; three-door refrigerator in basement not at proper temperature; several cutting boards in main kitchen and catering kitchen are excessively scored and holding stains.

Plover

• Jersey Mike's, 176 Crossroads Drive: May 29: Pre-inspection: No violations.
• Plover VFW Post No. 10262, 2970 Hickory Drive: May 9: Two violations: Sanitizer at bar dish machine not being used according to label instructions (corrected during inspection); sanitizer used in wet wiping cloth bucket not used according to manufacturer's directions (corrected during inspection).

• Classroom Bar, doing business as Cee Services, 1324 Second St.: May 1: Pre-inspection: Two violations: No procedures that address responding to vomiting or diarrheal events; interior of dish machine dirty.
• Gifted Hands Kitchen, 501 Maria Drive: May 11: No violations.
• Hurd's, 3279 Orchid Lane: May 11: No violations.
• Perkins Family Restaurant & Bakery, 143 N. Division St.: May 2: Results not reported.
• Renee's Red Rooster: 1247 Rocky Run Road: May 28: One violation: Two-door cooler near grill was temporarily unplugged and had an internal temperature of 49 degrees (correction: potentially hazardous food items were removed from cooler).
• Subway No. 105, 5601 Carrie Frost: May 22: Two violations: A few of the clean food pans stored on shelving unit are dirty; retail food establishment permit not posted in conspicuous area.
• Subway No. 106, 708A Division St.: May 21: Pre-inspection: No violations.
• Subway No. 107, 32 Park Ridge Drive: May 28: No violations.

Wisconsin Rapids

• Yia Xiong, 3099 Wisconsin 73: May 11: No violations.
