    What’s being built near Ulta Beauty in Crossroads Commons?

    Crews are building a Champion Xpress Carwash at 210 Crossroads Drive in Plover, next to Ulta Beauty.

    According to village documents, Plover leaders discussed and approved plans late last year for the development of a 4,355-square-foot tunnel car wash with two pay kiosks and off-street parking with vacuums to clean vehicles.

    What’s being built near Scooter’s Coffee in Stevens Point?

    Crews are also building a Champion Xpress Carwash on U.S. 10 East, next to Scooter's Coffee.

    City leaders discussed and approved plans last August to build a 4,355-square-foot tunnel car wash with 18 vacuum bays, kiosk stations to pay at the entrance and other parking areas. According to city documents, cars will move through the car wash on a conveyor belt through the equipment.

    What is Noble Community Clinics?

    Last month, Family Health La Clinica changed its name to Noble Community Clinics.

    According to a release from the company, the new name better reflects the clinic's broader mission to build vibrant communities and provide quality and accessible health care to everyone. The nonprofit community health center was founded in 1973, is headquartered in Wautoma and operates health center clinics in Stevens Point, Wautoma, Mauston, Beaver Dam and Friendship, along with mobile health services throughout the state.

    In Stevens Point, the clinic offers primary care, dental and behavioral health services.

    What's ADVENT in Plover?

    ADVENT, a nose and throat treatment center, recently celebrated the opening of its new Plover location at 1820 Post Road in Plover.

    The company operates 25 locations across Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota and Wisconsin, including Appleton, Green Bay, Madison, Mequon, Milwaukee, Oak Creek, Oconomowoc and Pleasant Prairie.

    The center focuses on in-office treatments for patients struggling with nasal blockage, sinus, snoring and sleep apnea conditions, according to a release from the company. ADVENT founders, Dr. Madan Kandula and Dr. Gwen Kandula said they are excited to bring convenient, efficient and effective medical care to central Wisconsin.
