Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) customers will see a $55.17 credit on their October utility bills, known as the California Climate Credit. This credit is part of California's Cap-and-Trade Program, which requires polluters to pay for their greenhouse gas emissions. The credit appears automatically on bills twice a year, in April and October.

PG&E Customers to Receive California Climate Credit on October Bills of $55
In October, millions of Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) customers will see a welcome reduction in their electric bills, thanks to the California Climate Credit. Residential customers with an active electric account will receive a credit of $55.17, the same amount they received in April. Small business customers are also eligible, bringing their total credits for the year to $110.34.
