STEWART — The Federal Valley Resource Center (FVRC) announces the recent updates to their campus, including replacement of all the roofs to the historic buildings and creating a new front entrance.

The community is invited to join a celebration of these accomplishments with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by a community meal and the third Annual Honky Tonk Ball. The event is scheduled for 4 p.m. May 11, at 8225 State Route 329, Stewart.

The festivities will commence with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 4 p.m., offering attendees the opportunity to explore the new facility through guided tours until 5 p.m.

The community meal will take place from 5-6:30 p.m., with a suggested donation of $10-$40 per person, supporting FVRC’s ongoing initiatives. Patrons of the meal will have the opportunity to become a FVRC member.

Attendees are invited to a free community concert featuring Hearts Gone South at 7 p.m., followed by a jam session with the band at 8 p.m. This family-friendly event promises an evening of celebration, music, and community engagement.

“2023-24 has been a monumental year for growth and improvement for FVRC,” said Talcon Quinn, an FVRC member. “We invite you to come celebrate our community accomplishments over the past year, learn about future endeavors, and get involved.”

Please RSVP for the community meal or to volunteer.
