Pig Rescued Recently from the Big Sioux River Has Passed Away
Some sad news. The pig that was rescued last week from the banks of the Big Sioux River has passed away. Dakota News Now reports that a small pig was spotted on the banks of the Big Sioux on Thursday, (July 18) which prompted Sioux Falls Animal Control and Sioux Falls Fire Rescue to snap into action to perform a water rescue just north of Falls Park a short time later.

Online School Registration Open for Madison Central
Annual online registration is open for students who will be attending the Madison Central School District this year. Parents of students are asked to log into their Parent Portal account to complete the online registration by August 2nd.
