COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - Two people were injured following an overnight shooting in Columbus. Police were called to the 1000 block of Floyd Road, near Buena Vista Road, shortly before 11 p.m. Friday. Woman’s death in Flagler Beach leads to man’s arrest in Georgia, police say
FLAGLER BEACH, Fla. – A person of interest has been arrested in Georgia following the suspicious death of a woman in Flagler Beach, according to police. The investigation began Thursday, the Flagler Beach Police Department said in a news release dated Saturday. The woman who died was identified as Sally J. Byrd, 66, who resided in the Pebble Beach Village community, the release states. Byrd’s cause of death had not yet been determined at the time of this report, police said.
