Belfry man killed in crash near Absarokee, third fatal in a week
A Belfry man died over the weekend in a wreck along a state highway in Stillwater County. The 71-year-old was one of four people traveling in an SUV that went off the road June 23 and struck a guardrail, according to a preliminary report from Montana Highway Patrol. Sunday’s fatality contributed to an increase in deadly crashes in Montana when compared to last year.
