The sports have evolved slightly over the years but the competitive spirit has been there all along for Stillwater’s Joe Eichten, who is scheduled to be inducted into the Minnesota Softball Hall of Fame on Saturday, Oct. 21 at the Historic Holmes Theatre in Detroit Lakes. Eichten, a 1976 Stillwater High School graduate who received all-conference honors in football and baseball while competing for the Ponies and also while playing both sports at the University of St. Thomas, played fastpitch softball for nearly two decades....

Stillwater assistant baseball coach John Hardgrove will be joining exclusive company on Saturday, Oct. 14 when he is inducted into the Minnesota State High School Coaches Association Hall of Fame.
