    Dance: Stillwater Chevals compete at Section 3AAA Meet

    Stillwater dance team wrapped up its season in Section 3AAA competition on Saturday, Feb. 10 at Bloomington Kennedy High School.

    The Chevals, who are coached by Kaela Skiba and Britanny Bennett, placed 11th in the jazz category and finished 12th in kick.

    Blaine, Forest Lake and Spring Lake Park captured the top three places in jazz, earning a spot in this weekend’s state meet in the process.

    The top three finishers in each of four sections advance to the state meet, which is scheduled for Feb. 16-17 at the Target Center in Minneapolis.

    In the kick division, Spring Lake Park took top honors while Blaine and Two Rivers followed in second and third, just ahead of fourth-place Forest Lake.
