Seniors Maycie Neubauer and Ethan Stabenow have been named the Most Valuable Athlete(s) for the Stillwater girls and boys alpine skiing teams.

Neubauer earned honorable mention all-conference recognition after missing a portion of the season due to injury, but she stormed back to win the individual Section 4 title to join teammate Paige Stabenow in qualifying for the state meet.

Madison Komarek, Rosie Kubiak, Lila Parcheta, Callie Sampson, Ainsley Smith and Lillian Zimick joined Paige Stabenow as All-Suburban East Conference performers for the Stillwater girls, who won all five conference events on the way to their 13th straight SEC championship.

The Ponies also placed third behind eventual state runner-up Minneapolis Washburn and Minneapolis Southwest in the Section 4 Meet. Stillwater finished just one point behind Southwest to narrowly miss out on a spot in the state field.

Eden Letourneau and Lillian Pryce joined Neubauer in earning honorable mention all-conference recognition.

Paige Stabenow and Neubauer earned all-section honors before placing 23rd and 79th at the state meet.

Ethan Stabenow was one of two all-state performers for the Stillwater boys, who claimed the top spot in four of five conference events to capture their 19th consecutive SEC title. Stillwater placed fourth in Section 4 to miss out on a state bid for just the second time in the past eight seasons.

Cash Jaeger, Dylan Riniker and Jack Kalmon joined Ethan Stabenow in earning All-SEC honors while Camden Gage received honorable mention all-conference recognition.

Jaeger and Stabenow earned all-section honors before placing second and ninth at state. It was the second straight state runner-up finish for Jaeger.

The program handed out several additional awards during its postseason awards banquet.
