Blaze Credit Union opens in Stillwater

Falcon Heights-based Blaze Credit Union has opened a new branch in Stillwater.

The new location is within a Cub Foods store at 1801 Market Drive, the company said in a press release.

“We are excited for the opportunity to bring Blaze to the Stillwater community,” Dan Stoltz, Blaze CEO, said in the release. “Having a branch in one of the busiest grocery stores in the state provides our members with the opportunity for ‘one-stop’ convenience, and our commitment to customer service will be on display for everyone who shops the Stillwater Cub.”

The new Stillwater branch is the organization's first to open as Blaze, following the merger of Hiway Credit Union and SPIRE Credit Union earlier this year. Blaze said it now has 27 locations. A Plymouth location is under construction at 10000 Rockford Road.

The Grand Opening for the Blaze Stillwater location is targeted for this summer.
