ADAIR COUNTY, Okla. (KNWA/KFTA) — An Oklahoma man is dead after a single-vehicle crash in Adair County on Thursday afternoon, according to a report from Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

The report said Allan Gann, 37, of Stilwell, was traveling northbound on Piney Road in a 2011 Jeep Liberty around 1:30 p.m. when his vehicle left the roadway after failing to negotiate a curve.

Gann hit a culvert and overturned before his vehicle came to a rest on its wheels.

The report said Gann was ejected around 20 feet from his vehicle and was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash. The cause of the crash was entering a curve at an unsafe speed, according to OHP.

Gann was taken to a nearby hospital with multiple external injuries where he later died.
