The Board of Osage County Commissioners convened for a regularly scheduled meeting at the fairgrounds on Monday morning for a brief and productive meeting. Monday's meeting was the first one since the Board had hired Stacey Brace to be a commissioner's assistant. From now on, Brace will put the agenda together for the meeting. Shooting Incident at Econo Lodge Motel in Pryor Ends in Tragedy
PRYOR, Oklahoma ~ Last night, at approximately 9:39 PM, Pryor Creek Police Officers were dispatched to the Econo Lodge Motel on the south side of Pryor Creek in response to a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found a male victim outside a motel room with two gunshot wounds to his upper body. The suspect had fled the scene before the officers arrived, but eyewitnesses provided a description of the suspect's vehicle.

Couple sought after allegedly fleeing Council Grove drug incident scene arrested in Oklahoma
Two people wanted after allegedly leaving the scene of a drug crime in Council Grove and driving to Oklahoma to escape justice have been arrested. Meagann Mason and Colby Ross were arrested Sunday at an unspecified location in Oklahoma, according to Morris County Crime Stoppers. They could be extradited to face charges at a later time.
OSU-OKC fire trucks star in Twisters film, program receives $4,500 donation
OKLAHOMA CITY, (KOKH) — Oklahoma State University-Oklahoma City Fire Protection department provided fire trucks for the Oklahoma-filmed "Twisters" blockbuster. "The 'Twisters' crew came to our campus and covered our logos with the logos used in the movie," said Joe Bennett, program director of the OSU-OKC Fire Protection department. "The instructors drove the rigs down to the shooting locations and remained on set for the entirety of shooting, moving the rigs to whatever locations the director needed."
