BOSTON — TheBoston Women’s Workforce Council and the City of Boston’s Equity and Inclusion Cabinet share their efforts to push towards equal pay for women of color. The Massachusetts Wage Equity legislation, known as the Frances Perkins Workplace Equity Act has been signed by Governor Maura Healey making Massachusetts the 11th state to put this law into effect--requiring employers to disclose salaries when posting job positions.
