Business Expo Set For Mobile
The Mobile Chamber is holding its next Business Expo on August 15 at 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Mobile Convention Center Exhibit Hall. Called “Mobile’s largest business-to-business trade show” by the chamber, it is to feature more than 200 exhibitors showcasing new products and services, along with business resources, food and beverage samples from local vendors, and more. Admission is $5 per person with a business card. Booth registration is open here.
Downtown Mobile Restaurant And Retail News
The Downtown Mobile Alliance recently announced restaurant expansions and retail news in the Downtown Lowdown. Chuck’s Fish is adding a bar and additional seating to the vacant space next door, with the expansion expected to be complete by the end of July. On the same block of Dauphin Street, Grace is also expanding, creating space for large gatherings, private events and general overflow seating when demand is high. Additionally, signs announcing the opening of BND Clothing were posted at 362 Dauphin Street, the former location of the Tres menswear boutique.

7 Studios recently opened at 7 North Royal St. in Downtown Mobile. It offers full video and audio recording studios for content creators. Its services include podcasts, videography and photography and professional event hosting. Matt Gates is the studio manager, and Josiah Chester is the media consultant/producer of 7 studios, a subsidiary of The Ark Holdings Group, Inc.
