Stockton: 2 Men Killed In Vehicle Collision Over The Weekend Identified

The San Joaquin County Medical Examiner's Office identified Tuesday two people who died in a traffic collision in Stockton over the weekend.

Luis Cervantes Jr., 20, of Stockton, and Javier Gonzalez, 38, of Stockton, were identified as the two men killed in a two-vehicle car crash Sunday night on West Lane and East Fulton Street.

Police said they responded to the area at 9:22 p.m. on a report of a collision.

At the scene, Cervantes Jr. and Gonzalez, who were in the same vehicle, were taken to a hospital where they later died from their injuries.

Traffic investigators responded to the scene but information on what caused the collision was not released.
