The U.S. Marshals Service is offering a reward up to $10,000 for information that will lead to the arrest of a man accused of burning and killing a Stockton mother and her two children last month.

The Marshals Service said they will offer the money to help in the capture of Jose Carmona, also known as J. Carmen Cardona Rodriguez.

Cardona, 59, is wanted by the Stockton Police Department and other agencies for allegedly setting fire to a camper that was parked in the 30 block of Visalia Court and Harbor Street on June 25 in Stockton.

He is described as a Hispanic man with brown hair and brown eyes, standing 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing about 190 pounds.

The San Joaquin County Medical Examiner identified the people found dead inside the mobile home trailer as Lisbeth Gutierrez, 32, Julian Dejesus Cardona Gutierrez, 10, and Juan Jose Gutierrez Salazar, 6.

Stockton Police Department detectives said their investigation revealed that Carmona had allegedly lit the fire while the victims were inside asleep.

The U.S. Marshals Service believes the wanted suspect has ties to Idaho and north Texas.

Carmona has multiple aliases, according to police, including Jose Carmona-Estrada, Roberto Giron-Giron, Felipe Ramirez Leon, Juan Alonzo-Alemndares, Juan Alonzo, Jose Avilla Cardona and Andres Vecerra Torres.

Police have released a photo of Carmona. Anyone who sees him should not approach him and should call the police immediately.

Anyone who may have information helpful to this case or who knows where Carmona is should call the U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) at 1 (877) WANTED-2.

Tips can also be made to Stockton police at (209) 937-8377.
