The U.S. Marshals Service has joined the search for a Stockton man who is accused of killing a mother and her two children in a mobile home fire in late June.

The federal law enforcement agency, in partnership with the Stockton Police Department, said they are offering a combined reward of up to $30,000 for information leading to the suspect's arrest.

The Stockton Police Department identified the man as Jose Carmona last month, and the U.S. Marshals Service has now identified him as Jose Cardona. But he is known to have used several aliases.

Detectives from the Stockton Police Department believe Carmona, 59, set fire on June 25 to a mobile home that was parked in the area of Visalia Court and Harbor Street.

Authorities said Carmona's ex-spouse, 33-year-old Lizbeth Josefina Gutiérrez and her two sons — ages 7 and 10 — were sleeping in the camper when it went up in flames. Carmona left the area before police arrived. They say they consider Carmona dangerous.

Carmona is described as a Hispanic man with brown hair and brown eyes. He is 5-foot-7 and weighs about 190 pounds.

Carmona has ties to Idaho and Texas, according to the U.S. Marshals Service.

His aliases include Jose Carmen Cardona, Jose Carmen Arriaga, Jose Luis Cardoza, Jose Luis Arriaga, Jose Luis Cardozaarrige, Jose Maslu Cardonas, Jose Maslu Arriaga, Jose Maslu Arndula, Jose Maslu Aranvula, Martin Munoz Lopez, Martin Lopezmunoz, Martin Munoz, Jose Aranvulamaslu, Juan Sotogonzalez, Juan Soto, Juan Gonzalez, Juan Jose Aranvula, and Jose Maslu.

The U.S. Marshals Service also lists these other aliases: Jose Carmona-Estrada, Roberto Giron, Felipe Ramirez-Leon, Juan Alonzo, and Jose Torres.

Anyone with information on where Cardona is, is urged to contact the U.S. Marshals Service at 1-877-WANTED-2 or submit a tip with the agency's tips app. Tips can also be submitted to Stockton Crime Stoppers at (209) 946-0600.
