Knights of Columbus charity raffle for Greene, Putnam & Hancock Counties underway
The Knights of Columbus, Pope John Paul II Council 13808, in Greensboro, kicked off their annual charity raffle on Aug. 1 to support local charities in Greene, Putnam &and Hancock Counties. This marks the 11th year for the charity raffle with over $449,000 raised in support of various charities in the tri-county area. Jimmy Britt Chevrolet/Buick/GMC will once again be the Charity Raffle’s Presenting Sponsor.

WJCL 22 News spoke with SCCPSS Superintendent Dr. Denise Watts live from the Savannah-Chatham Transportation Facility where she checked on bus drivers before they headed out to pick up kids for the first day of class.
