Inside the time capsule were, among other things, old newspapers, an old book from the Garrettsville 120th Centennial and a song written about Garrettsville called “Old Garrettsville” that was sung by two girls, according to the James A. Fire destroys restaurant, hall on West Side; firefighter injured
CLEVELAND, Ohio — A fire at a restaurant and hall on the West Side rekindled after it was initially controlled, destroying the building and injuring a firefighter. According to the city fire department, the blaze first started in the restaurant, reportedly Gargano’s, located near the intersection of West 25th Street and Marvin Avenue in the Clark-Fulton neighborhood.
