‘Lucky for Life’ winner: $25k a year for life prize won in Massachusetts
A Massachusetts lottery player won a $25,000 a year for life prize during Wednesday night’s “Lucky for Life” drawing. The winning “Lucky for Life” numbers for the multi-state drawing were 7, 18, 20, 39, 46 and Lucky Ball: 10. The ticket that won $25,000 a year for life matched the first five numbers, but not the Lucky Ball.
MBTA Announces Service Changes to Accommodate Track Work
BOSTON – The MBTA announced service changes on several lines so it can continue its work in maintaining track infrastructure across its system. MBTA reports its Green Line B branch service will be suspended from August 2nd to 11th between Boston College and Babcock Street. During this time, an alternative bus shuttle service will be available for passengers.

Our lawns and plants are starting to get crunchy if you haven't been watering. I know it seems as if we have had a ton of rain, but in reality, Boston hasn't seen enough. As this is the hottest stretch of summer, peak evaporation occurs typically. And so now that we have a slight rain deficit for this month (.73 inches below normal), we just need to keep up with watering the gardens and plants.

Mass. health care workers paid after I-Team investigation say checks bounced
NORTHBRIDGE - No one at Blackstone Valley Health and Rehabilitation in Northbridge wanted to talk about the employees that have not been paid in more than a month. Health care workers at all four of Blupoint Healthcare's long term care facilities tell the I-Team their paychecks started bouncing a month ago. Last week Blackstone Valley employees held up signs on the street demanding to be paid. The company promised to fix the problem. In text messages to employees, it blamed the issue on a bank error. ValleyBike expected to reopen bike sharing program at the end of the summer
The regional bicycle share program should resume by the end of the summer, several months later than initially planned.
