Northeast Ohio gets federal funding to go big on solar power expansion
New solar power projects are soon to come to Northeast Ohio following the awarding of a more than $129 million federal grant for renewable energy. The funding from the U.S. Environmental Protection agency is the largest grant awarded to Cuyahoga County since it adopted the charter form of government in 2011, Cuyghoga Green Energy Administrator Mike Foley said. The funds will be used to remediate brownfields and transform them into solar energy hubs.

Colorado Breweries Win Big At 2024 US Open Beer Championship
The 2024 US Open Beer Championship just wrapped up in Ohio and they’ve announced this year’s winners and the breweries judged to be the best in America. This competition is the only one to include beers from professional breweries as well as beers from gold medal winners from the 2021 National AHA Homebrew Competition. CLEVELAND — Matthew Boyd took a positive step to returning to the major league mound Sunday in a minor league rehab outing for Double-A Akron.
